And in the night, you've got a unique sky of stars. No big city is disturbing the look of the viewer, and the position on the top of the hill is offering a 360-degrees-wraparound-expectation.

The Cévennes need by their inclement nature a very special flexibility of the people to their
environment - also by buildig special types of houses.
This slate-stacking is providing enough resistance against the power of the natur -
aridness, heavy rain und last but not least the all-time-blowing south-wind "Mistral"

Very, very slowly the dust is rising from the surrounding valleys up to the hills, the old
ruins of the castle are perfectly hidden by the white flood. Slowly it's dawning, the clearly
feelable coldness is going away by the time and also the dark clouds will soon
move away for a clearly blue sky.

Clearly the stronglines of the cross are visible in front of the unique grey of the sky.
Fixed by a heavy concrete-block, it's seems to affront every weather, sun, rain and storm.
This filigree seeming cross made of heavy cast iron, beginnig and ending at the same time
is standing at the entrance or exit (depending on the position of the viewer) of the
Communatué-region.

Who likes to go at 6:40 am to the station? But sometimes it's worthy getting up very early.
Like in this picture, cause such a seizing moment you don't have every day. The harmony
of nature and technology are creating a scene which let us stop breathing.

A big box of in the sunlightt reflecting water - that is how the pavillion of Island is presenting
itself on the EXPO 2000 in Hannover. Unreal, but connected with a great fascination. And in the inner
part, a 12 meter high geyser is presenting the geographie of the small island. Well, sometimes it is
not as bad as it seems to bee a small country, how could you otherwise project the names of all
living and deceased inhabitant onto the walls?
